Register online to join an on-going Spring Semester Class
Spring semester – January 23, 2023 – May 22, 2023.
Please check textbooks below to find which class to take. You must pay tuition to secure your space in a class. We place first come, first served basis.
1. After registering online, mail your tuition check payable to “Sakura Gakuen”. Please write “Adult Class” on memo line. Write your name on the check, if it is not on the check. (For example, your parent is paying for you.) Do not send cash. We are not responsible for slow delivery, or a lost mail.
One semester class is $220 per class. The Buddhist Church of Sacramento member’s tuition is $150 per semester class. (Add $20 late fee after 12/31/2022)
“Japanese for Travelers” may be offered in June or July 2023. Tuition will be $60 for four sessions. Contact Mrs. Thomas for student guidelines.
If you decided to take both Monday conversation class and Tuesday Kanji class, you get $10 discount for the second class, total $430. (The church members’ tuition is $300 for two classes.)

Class observation fee – Contact Adult Class Dean first. We recommend you send a Bank check, so you can observe the class right after we receive your payment. Class observation is available for classes that have openings. If the class is full, students may observe for future registration for the next term. If you decide to take the class, it will be applied toward your tuition for the current semester, or the one immediately following. Please hold on to the original receipt, or email notice.

There may be an additional charge for Kanji class. *Tomodachi discount deal: Recommend our school to your family and friends and get $10 discount! When your friend/family member registers and pays as a new student to Sakura Gakuen Adult or Youth program, you will get $10 discount. If you introduce us to two new students, you will get $20, and so on.

Class Size
Minimum 8 students to open a new class. First come (register and pay), first served. We will notify you if the class did not have enough enrollment two weeks before the first day of the class. If a class cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, we would suggest you take a different class instead, or we will refund the tuition. There will be no refund for “no-show” or dropping a class.
If you know some Japanese, don’t wait for next semester. You can join an ongoing class any time as long as there is room.
