Youth Classes rates for 2021-22
Semester Tuition:
$250 for the first student $225 for the second student $200 for the third and successive students. Members of the Buddhist Church of Sacramento are eligible for a special rate – $150.
Tuition and fees are due in full at registration
Payable with 1 check to “Sakura Gakuen PTC” – No credit card payments accepted at this time.

Semester Dues for the PTC:
$25 for each student enrolled. PTC dues are not required for online classes at this time.
Also payable at the time of registration, and mandatory for each student enrolled in Youth Classes. These dues help fund the school’s annual cultural events, activities, and gifts for the students and teachers. Registered members of the Buddhist Church of Sacramento are exempt.
Materials Fee:
$10 per semester for each student enrolled. Materials fees are not required for online classes at this time.
Defrays paper supplies and rising printing costs.
Parent Participation Deposit:
$100 for each family Parent participation deposits have been suspended until in-person classes have resumed.
The success of our school depends on parent participation and your child directly benefits from all the time contributed. This deposit is per family per year to encourage parent participation. See Parent Participation Program for program details about deposit refunds and rolling over deposits to the following school year. The deposit is assessed the first semester enrolled each academic year.
Late Tuition Fee Charge:
$20
Tuition not paid by the second day of school will be charged a late fee per student.
Returned Check Fee Charge:
$20
All checks returned to Sakura Gakuen Japanese Language School will be charged an additional fee.
Textbooks:
Textbooks will be ordered once an accurate number of enrolled students is determined. These will be made available for purchase in by the third or fourth week of the semester.
Kindergarten Classes rates for 2021-2022 (Sakura Gakuen is not holding ZOOM online classes for kindergarten students at this time.) The information below is for when in-person classes have resumed.
Semester Tuition:
$190 for the each kindergarten student
Sibling discounts are not applicable
